Continuing reading the graphic novel, One Piece, I realized that another big message that is being conveyed throughout the whole journey of Monkey D. Luffy.
“A Dream Never Dies”
This whole story is based around Monkey D. Luffy (the main character)’s lifelong dream is to become the Pirate King by finding the king’s hidden treasure. Sometimes during the whole adventure with Luffy and his crew, they were hitting hard obstacles that made them double think this whole adventure. But Dreams never dies, to this day they’re still determined to figure out and find the pirate’s treasure. During their adventures, they met a new friend’s who shared their dreams and you can see the determination in each of their eyes. For example, Tony Tony Chopper, who’s dream was to become a doctor who can cure all diseases while being able to travel the world and was very determined to succeed that. Another example is Monkey D. Luffy’s crew, seeing Luffy’s determination during the adventure, they realized they might be able to accomplish their goal during the adventure while also being motivated by Luffy himself.
